On the evening of April 11, 2025, the Alameda County Women's Hall of Fame hosted a special reception at the elegant Sequoyah Country Club in Oakland. The event honored the outstanding accomplishments of past and present Hall of Fame inductees as well as scholarship recipients. Guests enjoyed an evening of meaningful connections, engaging conversations, and refreshments in celebration of the achievements and lasting impact of these remarkable women. The gathering provided a unique opportunity for honorees and supporters to come together ahead of the formal luncheon and induction ceremony.

The Women's Hall of Fame recognizes outstanding women for their achievements and contributions to the Alameda County community and its residents. The Women's Hall of Fame honors women in various categories at an annual luncheon and awards ceremony. Through this event, the Women's Hall of Fame generates funds to support the Mary V. King/Wilma Chan Youth Scholarship Fund and local community-based organizations that help women and families in Alameda County.
