Complete all the required documents to receive a W-2 at the end of the year from Alameda County prior to being appointed as an Election Worker.
Attend and complete Mandatory In-person and Online Training within the given deadline.
Provide a valid phone number and email address. Need to check regularly (Email address is required for online training, and for communication)
Always remain impartial through opinions/ideas with voters. Be presentable. (Dress attire is Business Casual)
Must have reliable transportation to attend Training Class and to go to the assigned Vote Center on Election Days.
Be responsible to fulfill the assigned duties on days assigned at a Vote Center.

Election workers will be needed for 4 days from Saturday, November 2nd through Tuesday, November 5th. We encourage election workers to serve all 4 days ($20 bonus).
You must be a registered voter in the state of California.
Lawful permanent residents (Green Card Holders) are eligible to serve as workers, per assembly bill-817.
ROV will make reasonable efforts during the screening/selection process upon request, to accommodate qualified individuals with disabilities and/or medical conditions in accordance/compliance with the State Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), Federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Alameda County’s Reasonable Accommodation Policy and applicable statutes. Alameda County requires applicants to provide supporting documentation to substantiate a request for reasonable accommodation. To qualify for a reasonable accommodation, applicants must have a disability/medical condition pursuant to the ADA, FEHA and applicable statutes.
